The destination
Located near the Austrian border in Northern Italy, the UNESCO-listed Dolomite Mountains combine the charm and welcoming culture of Austria with the colour and verve of Italy. Here, the 3 Zinnen Dolomites ski resort extends over five interconnected mountains, with over 70 miles (115km) of groomed pistes catering to skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Beyond the slopes are five villages to explore, including peaceful Braies, the market town of San Candido, and Dobbiaco with its picturesque lake; and a local cuisine that blends hearty South Tyrolean specialities and Italian fine dining. The area can be accessed via Venice without the need to rent a car, thanks to easy bus transfers.

The prize
Courtesy of 3 Zinnen Dolomites, one reader and a guest will spend four nights at the ski resort, staying in a double room in a four-star hotel on a half-board basis. The prize includes return economy flights (with checked-in luggage) from London to Venice and airport transfers in Italy. The winner will receive lift passes and ski gear hire for two people for three days, and one morning ski lesson to share. The prize is valid from mid-December 2025 to mid-April 2026; blackout dates apply (20 December 2025 to 3 January 2026; 8 February to 7 March). It must be booked at least four weeks in advance, and a minimum of two travel dates must be supplied.
